On hot ummer day, when tree hang over the road, the whole city i hidden from view. Thi make the city all the more attractive. When night come, ome Uygur girl and boy walk out into the treet, dancing and inging. What a happy life they live!

Today, Urumchi ha become the political, economical and cultural centre of the Autonomou Region.
“Urumchi” mean “beautiful graland” in Mongolian. Now, the beautiful graland ha turned itelf into a modern city.
